About Me
With over fifteen years of experience in holistic healthcare, including roles as a yoga teacher, therapist, and a qualified counsellor/psychotherapist, I bring a unique perspective to UI/UX design.
For the past eight years, I’ve also worked in management for a mental health charity, where I led teams, collaborated with stakeholders, and designed services focused on user needs, wellbeing, and support. This blend of clinical and management experience has instilled in me a deep understanding of empathy, active listening, and the importance of addressing individuals’ unique needs and motivations—qualities I now bring to my work as a designer.
My transition into UX/UI design was sparked by the realization that mobile technology is one of the most powerful ways to reach people and deliver mental health and wellbeing support. By combining my background in healthcare with my new design skills, I aim to create user-centered digital experiences that empower individuals to thrive. Whether through helping users adopt new habits, engage with wellness tools, or access formal healthcare services, I am passionate about designing products that make everyday life easier, more enjoyable, and supportive of personal growth.
As a designer, I strive to create intuitive, compassionate digital solutions that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also deeply aligned with the needs of users, especially in health and wellness contexts. I am driven by the belief that thoughtful design can positively impact lives, and I am always excited to explore new ways to support people’s journeys toward mental and physical wellbeing through digital products.
When I’m not designing, you’ll find me skating, snowboarding, surfing, or hunting online for second-hand treasures at vintage shops.
